Information for Buyers
If you're considering buying a new home, the process can seem
overwhelming. Don't feel bad! There's a lot to know, and
decisions you make now can have an impact on you for years to
come. That's why using a Realtor® is so important.
As an Accredited Buyer Representative, or ABR, I use my experience working with buyers and your
input to help find your perfect home. Using recent market data on home prices, we'll make sure
you're getting the best deal possible. In addition, we have a network of talented and experienced
mortgage lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and appraisers who we can suggest if you're
in need of any additional services.
As a representative for you, the buyer, everything we do for you is with one goal in mind...
to give you the most information possible, allowing you to make informed decisions when
purchasing a new home. By assisting you during this process, you'll search with confidence,
knowing there's a real estate expert there to guide you, and help avoid common pitfalls.
The list below outlines some things you can do before beginning our home search that will make
the process more efficient. As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us
for more information.
- Consider the size of home you're looking for (number of bedrooms, number of baths.)
- Identify and prioritize important features (room sizes, pool, patios, etc.)
- Consider outside factors (children-friendly neighborhood, school systems, etc.)
- Check your credit rating. Straighten out any errors before it’s too late.
- Determine a comfortable monthly budget, including down payment and monthly payment.
- Find a loan program that meets your needs and get pre-qualified (preferably pre-approved.)
